It’s easy to come to places along the journey of life where our focus becomes compromised. Setbacks and broken hearts do a great job at pulling your focus from your purpose onto them.

Once your focus fixes on the problem(s), the problem(s) becomes unsolvable. Any problem can be solved by refocusing our attention on the intention of our lives.

I finally have my focus back on the right things. The lens of my focus was fixed on brokenness the past year and a half to two years. Now it’s re-centered on the things that are center to my being.

My schedule yesterday was completely jammed up with work that I actually enjoy doing. All day, I had to force myself away from a big project I’m working on so I could work on another big project that’s just as important to me, as well as in line with my heart. What a great time, to live life on purpose, doing things I actually meant to do.

You know you’re working on something powerful when you haven’t really eaten, you’re not concerned about breaking away in order to eat, and you’re thinking, “Can I get away with only three hours of sleep?”

No, I’m not saying to live without your health in mind. But I am saying, do work that has you so engaged that you have to actively pull yourself away from it because you know your body needs food and sleep. Give your body food and sleep. Give your life an unbelievably strong purpose in the work that you do.
